The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to dispatch 40,000 school bags to Lebanon, following directives from Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent. This initiative is part of the broader 'UAE with Lebanon' campaign, which aims to bolster educational continuity in Lebanon.

The 'UAE with Lebanon' campaign was initiated by President Sheikh Mohamed. This support underscores the UAE's sustained commitment to advancing education and offering aid to Lebanon, particularly given the current challenges in its education sector.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Digital School, emphasized that the project embodies the UAE's steadfast dedication to its humanitarian objectives. These objectives include fostering hope, creating opportunities for communities, and supporting their aspirations for the future.

Al Olama also highlighted that the Digital School is one of the initiatives that exemplify the UAE's humanitarian mission. It offers innovative and sustainable educational solutions that enhance learning opportunities for children in underserved areas globally.

On October 30, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, instructed the provision of programs to support educational continuity in Lebanon through the 'Digital School'. This move aims to address the adverse effects of the ongoing events in Lebanon.

Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, noted that the UAE was among the first nations to recognize its responsibility towards Lebanon.
