Participating in unlicensed lottery and commercial gaming activities within the UAE poses substantial risks, according to the nation's gaming regulatory body. These risks encompass fraud, deception, and financial loss. In a recent consumer advisory, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) emphasized that the UAE has stringent laws prohibiting unauthorized gambling operations.
"Engaging in or promoting these activities is not only illegal but also subject to severe penalties under UAE law, including fines and imprisonment," the authority stated. The advisory outlined six primary risks linked to unlicensed gaming operators.
