The UAE's National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather advisory cautioning residents about impending dust storms and rainfall from Wednesday to Friday. The country will be affected by two distinct weather systems—one near the ground and another higher in the atmosphere—which will converge to generate clouds and potentially precipitation. When the surface low-pressure system from the east interacts with the upper-level low-pressure system and the westward jet stream, it creates a dynamic atmosphere. These systems can elevate moist air, fostering the formation of clouds and potentially leading to precipitation such as rain or thunderstorms. The intensity of these systems could influence weather conditions across a broad area, according to the NCM.

From Wednesday night through Friday, the UAE's weather will undergo notable changes, beginning with an increase in cloud cover. Late Wednesday night, clouds will start to accumulate gradually over the western regions, spreading eastward to cover the coast, islands, and parts of the northern and eastern areas. Consequently, by Thursday, there is a likelihood of rainfall, particularly in areas with dense cloud coverage. Although the rain may not be widespread, coastal regions and the north and east could experience showers throughout the day. By Friday, the weather will start to improve. The cloud cover will diminish gradually by Friday afternoon, resulting in clearer skies. This clearing will be accompanied by a drop in temperatures, a typical occurrence when the sky clears and the heat of the day is less trapped by cloud layers. Thus, while Thursday will bring a mix of clouds and possible rain, Friday is expected to be cooler with more sunshine.

Sea conditions will also be notably rough during this period. On Thursday and Friday, the waters in the Arabian Gulf are anticipated to be rough to very rough, posing risks for maritime activities such as boating or fishing. The Oman Sea will experience moderately rough conditions. Mariners should exercise additional caution as strong waves and challenging conditions are forecasted through the end of the week. Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, shifting to northwesterly, moderate to active in speed and occasionally strong, particularly over the sea. They will stir up dust and sand on land, occasionally reducing horizontal visibility.
