As the working week in the UAE commences on Monday, skies are anticipated to be clear to partly cloudy, according to a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Rain may affect certain areas as heavy clouds are likely to form over some inland regions, while temperatures are expected to rise slightly. NCM has predicted that several areas in Abu Dhabi will experience rainfall of varying intensity from Monday, October 7, until Wednesday, October 9. Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious amid the fluctuating weather conditions.
The weather department previously issued warnings of heavy rain and thunder due to the UAE experiencing surface low pressure, which will result in rainfall over the next few days. From October 6 to 9, the UAE will be influenced by a 'relatively cold air-mass in the upper levels'. On Monday, humidity levels are expected to range between 20 per cent and 85 per cent, with temperatures forecast to reach a high of 39℃ in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Winds will be light to moderate but may become active at times, reaching speeds of up to 60kmph. Waves in the Arabian Gulf will be light to moderate, while the Sea of Oman will experience light tides.
