Clear to partly cloudy skies are anticipated across the UAE this weekend, but residents should prepare for rainfall in certain areas. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a warning yesterday about heavy rain and thunder as the country braces for surface low pressure, which will bring precipitation over the next few days.
From October 6 to 9, the UAE will be influenced by a 'relatively cold air-mass in the upper levels.' The weather might become humid at night and on Monday morning in some coastal and inland regions, according to the weather department's Sunday update. Humidity levels are expected to range between 20 per cent and 90 per cent, while temperatures are forecast to peak at 36℃ in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Winds will be light to moderate but could become active and reach speeds of up to 35kmph at times. Waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to be light.
