On Monday, August 26, the majority of residents in the UAE can anticipate a mostly fair day that may occasionally become partly cloudy, as per the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). On Sunday, residents in the eastern and southern regions experienced afternoon showers, providing a welcome relief from the heat. Today, temperatures are expected to peak at 46ºC in inland areas, a slight decrease from yesterday's 47ºC. The emergence of the Suhail star is set to gradually lower night-time temperatures across the country, hinting at the initial stages of a weather change. The NCM has also noted that it will be cloudy in some eastern and southern areas this afternoon. Light to moderate winds, occasionally strengthening, with speeds reaching up to 40kmph are forecasted, potentially causing dust. The sea conditions are expected to be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
