According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), there is a possibility of rainfall in certain areas of the UAE on Sunday, September 1.

The meteorological agency reports a likelihood of precipitation in the eastern and southern regions due to cloud formation. Similarly, the NCM had predicted these rainy conditions in the mentioned areas as a result of cloud movement from the Arabian Sea, influenced by the tropical storm.

The weather department announced on Saturday that the tropical storm will continue to move in the Arabian Sea, gradually weakening from Sunday afternoon onwards. The storm is anticipated to be downgraded to a tropical depression today.

The NCM also issued a yellow alert due to fresh winds and rough seas, which will persist until 1pm today. Although it may rain in some areas, the overall weather is expected to be partly cloudy.

Despite the rainy conditions in some areas, humidity is expected to increase during the night and Monday morning, particularly in the western regions. Light to moderate winds, occasionally strengthening, are forecasted to blow across the country during the day, potentially causing dust.

The sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. Due to the tropical storm, sea levels may rise along some eastern coastal beaches during high tide on Sunday and Monday.
