Light to moderate winds, occasionally strong, are expected to stir up dust and sand. The Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to see slight sea conditions. On Al Watan road, leading to Hatta, heavy thunderstorms and hail were reported at around 5pm on Saturday, June 8, according to the NCM. The meteorological department issued a yellow alert for rain on Saturday, with heavy showers also observed in parts of Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. Light hail was recorded over Wadi Mai in Fujairah on Friday, June 7. An advisory was issued for those in the eastern regions experiencing heavy rains, warning of potential flash floods.
