Residents of the UAE can anticipate rainfall in certain regions of the country on Wednesday, accompanied by a decrease in temperatures, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Earlier weather advisories from the meteorological agency cautioned residents about dust storms and rainfall commencing from today until Friday. The weather forecast for today indicates partly cloudy to cloudy conditions at times across some western, northern, and coastal areas. Moderate to fresh winds are expected to blow, intensifying at times, particularly over the sea. This will result in blowing dust and sand inland, diminishing horizontal visibility.

The sea conditions are predicted to be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate, transitioning to rough at times by evening in the Oman Sea. The NCM has issued orange and yellow alerts as sea levels are anticipated to reach 10ft offshore in the Arabian Gulf from 7am on Thursday until 7am on Sunday.

Temperatures are projected to dip to a low of 13°C in mountainous regions and rise to a high of 27°C in internal areas. Humidity levels are expected to peak at 90 per cent in internal areas and drop to a low of 15 per cent in mountainous parts of the country.
