Umm Al Quwain Police has initiated a safety campaign targeting school students as they resume their studies post-summer. The campaign involves several measures to boost pupil safety, such as augmenting police visibility around schools and strategic roadways to facilitate unobstructed traffic and secure pedestrian crossings for students.

The initiative also underscores the significance of seat belt usage, correct installation of child seats, and safe road crossing techniques for students. Colonel Ahmed Rashid Al Mazrouei, the Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, highlighted that the campaign's objective is to educate the community, with a focus on parents, students, drivers, and transportation managers, at the start of the academic year.

The aim is to elevate their awareness of traffic safety and foster a secure, accident-free school setting, thereby making roads safer, as stated by Colonel Al Mazrouei. Various organizations and authorities have collaborated to execute this campaign, including community police, traffic departments at police stations, and the Saaed Traffic Systems Company.
