Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Liberty Falls may be a smaller Zombies map, but it still holds some secrets worth exploring. One such Easter egg involves gaining access to a locked vault, which offers free, randomized loot items. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to locate, unlock, and utilize the loot vault in Liberty Falls.
The vault is situated within the map's bank, known as 'Savings and Loans.' You can reach this location by starting from either the left or right side map barrier. Both paths are equally accessible and cost the same.
Inside the bank, you'll find a locked vault door that requires a combination to unlock. The combination is scattered across hidden notes found throughout the map. You'll need to collect all three notes, each providing two numbers for the 6-digit code. This numerical combination changes with each match, so you'll always need to inspect the three notes, but the loot rewards are certainly worth the effort.
The first piece of the code is located inside the bank. Look for a note on the countertop just outside the vault room. The second piece is hidden in Ollie's comic book shop. Go behind the counter and face the superhero statue, then crouch or go prone to find a hidden note stuck inside a shelf. The third piece is inside the bowling alley. Head to the concessions counter, where the note is concealed underneath a bucket of beer. Shoot or melee the bucket to make it disappear, revealing the final numbers for the code.
The order in which you find the notes is also the order you'll need to input the codes into the vault's combination lock. Once unlocked, you can enter the vault at any time. Zombies can't reach you inside, giving you a 40-second window to loot the vault before you're automatically kicked out.
For your first visit, you'll be rewarded with some essence points. However, it's advisable to look for keys dropped by enemies, particularly Manglers and Abominations. These keys come in various rarities and are used to unlock the security boxes inside the vault. The loot you receive is random, but it's always worth unlocking the vault for each playthrough. For instance, a green (common) key might give you a killstreak, a rare (blue) key could yield a random weapon of the same rarity, and an Epic (purple) key might reward you with a Ray Gun Wonder Weapon.
