Although some other guns in Destiny 2's Episode: Revenant, such as Exuviae and Liturgy, may grab more attention, the adaptive frame Arc pulse rifle Vantage Point, obtainable from the episode, is also quite impressive. Its god roll makes it a versatile weapon in PvE, particularly effective when paired with Arc builds that focus on delivering Jolt to enemies to keep them electrified while maintaining your own Amplified status.

Currently, Revenant weapons, including Vantage Point, can be acquired by participating in the episode's main event, the wave-based Onslaught: Salvation mode. These guns are random drops that can be obtained after completing specific waves and earning reward chests. However, the contents of these chests are random, so while you might receive Vantage Point, you could also get other weapons or armor. The most effective way to secure the guns you desire is to 'attune' your rewards using Revenant's Tonics system. By crafting and using Enrichment tonics, you can increase the likelihood of obtaining certain drops when playing Onslaught: Salvation, making it easier to acquire the desired guns and rolls. For more details, refer to our Tonics guide.

Additionally, you can earn a roll of Vantage Point as a reward for completing the Revenant Act 1 story quests. Vantage Point is a valuable addition to Arc builds due to its Jolting Feedback perk, which is likely the primary perk you'll aim for in the weapon. This perk allows you to easily inflict Jolt on almost any enemy you shoot, making Vantage Point ideal for maintaining the Amplified buff if you're using an Arc or Prismatic subclass.

The Keep Away perk is also beneficial, especially since you typically use a pulse rifle from a distance, ensuring you constantly reap its benefits. For builds less focused on Arc synergy, Stats for All and One For All are solid alternatives, but the best use of Vantage Point is leveraging its ability to constantly apply Jolt.

While Vantage Point may not be outstanding in PvE, it remains reliable. Range and stability are crucial stats for pulse rifles in the Crucible, ensuring your bullets hit their targets more reliably at longer ranges. Keep Away remains a good choice here, providing buffs in many situations, while Headseeker boosts your precision damage. Desperado is another useful perk, though it requires a kill, unlike Headseeker.
