Renowned Indian actor Atul Parchure passed away on Monday at the age of 57. He had been grappling with health issues. Parchure was celebrated for his comedic performances in both Hindi and Marathi cinema. Marathi actor Jaywant Wadkar, a dear friend of the late actor, informed ANI of Atul Parchure's demise.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his condolences, noting the actor's untimely passing is deeply saddening. "Sometimes making the audience laugh... The untimely death of Atul Parchure. Atul Parchure began his illustrious acting journey in children's theatre. He made his mark across drama, film, and television," Shinde wrote on X.

"Whether it was plays like Tarun Turk Mhatare Ark, Natigoti... Or Deshpande's verbal, lyrical comedy, Atul Parchure enriched it with his natural talents. He portrayed remarkable characters in both Marathi and Hindi films. Marathi cinema has lost a classic actor... May God grant them the strength to endure this grief. On behalf of the state government, I pay tribute to him. Om shanti."

Atul Parchure collaborated with numerous actors and was often cast in supporting roles. His filmography includes Navra Mazha Navsacha, Salaam-E-Ishq, Partner, All the Best: Fun Begins, Khatta Meetha, Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap, and Brave Heart. He was also known for his diverse roles in The Kapil Sharma Show.
