Pham Minh Chinh, the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, arrived in Abu Dhabi today for an official visit to the UAE. Upon his arrival, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was welcomed by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade and the head of the honorary delegation accompanying the visiting Prime Minister, along with Dr. Bader Abdullah Al Matrooshi, UAE Ambassador to Vietnam, and several other officials.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister's visit to the UAE underscores the mutual commitment of both nations to strengthen their bilateral relations. Vietnam stands as the UAE's largest non-oil trade partner within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Non-oil bilateral trade has been thriving, reaching $6.1 billion in the first half of 2024, marking a 9% and 34% increase compared to the same periods in 2023 and 2022, respectively.
