Earlier this year, Activision introduced Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the newest entry in the franchise's foray into mobile gaming. However, Warzone Mobile is set to drop support for older devices later this month. Starting November 14, the game will require iOS 17 or Android 13 or higher, along with a GPU capable of bindless texturing. After this date, devices that do not meet these specifications will no longer receive updates or access to the latest Season 1 content.
Users with older devices can still play Warzone Mobile if they have version 3.10 installed before November 14. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary solution. Activision's grace period will last six months, after which the updated minimum specs will be enforced for players still on the previous version of the game. The company also mentioned that Call of Duty Mobile will provide special rewards for players whose devices are no longer compatible with Warzone Mobile. Call of Duty Mobile features its own battle royale mode, separate from Warzone.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 kicked off earlier this week, celebrating the game's fifth anniversary with a plethora of new content. Highlights include a new map, Krai, which offers a narrative mission in addition to serving as the latest battle-royale environment. A new trailer for the game was also released. As part of the anniversary event, the latest battle pass includes new operator skins, weapon blueprints, CoD Points, and a battle-royale class called Teleport, which allows players to set a marker on the map and return to it at any time using the teleport function. More updates and features are expected throughout Call of Duty Mobile Season 10.
