According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), there is a chance of rain in the eastern and southern regions this Saturday afternoon. The meteorological agency has also cautioned drivers about reduced visibility due to fog on Saturday morning. A red alert was issued by the weather department, informing residents about a decline in horizontal visibility, which could decrease further until 8:30 AM today. The UAE has been facing morning fog for several days now. Yesterday, another red alert was issued by the weather department due to the foggy conditions. In a recent post on X, Abu Dhabi Police advised drivers to be cautious due to the fog's reduced visibility. Motorists are encouraged to adjust their speed according to the changing limits shown on electronic signs. The NCM has also warned UAE residents about a tropical storm in the northeast Arabian Sea that could indirectly impact the country. Although it might rain in some areas today, the weather is anticipated to be fair to partly cloudy. Despite potential rain, humidity is expected to rise during the night and Sunday morning, with a chance of fog or mist in some western coastal and inland areas. Light to moderate winds, occasionally stronger, are forecasted to blow across the country, potentially stirring up dust. The sea conditions are expected to be mild to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
