The National Centre of Meteorology predicts a day marked by fair to partly cloudy skies. Expect light to moderate Northwesterly winds, blowing at speeds between 10 to 25 kmph, with gusts reaching up to 40 kmph. These winds may intensify occasionally, leading to dust storms throughout the day. Low clouds are anticipated over the East Coast, potentially giving rise to convective clouds over the mountains, which could result in rainfall.
A red and yellow fog alert has been issued, warning of reduced horizontal visibility, which might further decrease in certain inland areas from 6am to 8.30am on Saturday. Temperatures are expected to soar, with highs of 47ºC nationwide, including 41ºC in Abu Dhabi and 38ºC in Dubai. Conversely, temperatures could dip as low as 31ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and 24ºC in inland regions.
Humidity levels are set to increase during the night and into Sunday morning, with a likelihood of mist forming in some coastal areas. These levels will vary between 30 to 80 percent in Abu Dhabi and 45 to 85 percent in Dubai. Sea conditions are forecast to be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
