Whitney Peak, famous for her role in the Gossip Girl reboot, is slated to star with Phoebe Dynevor in Sony Pictures' forthcoming untitled shark thriller. Directed by Tommy Wirkola, known for his previous action-packed film Violent Night, the movie is scheduled to begin filming in Melbourne this July, as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. Although the plot is being kept secret, it is rumored to center on a community grappling with the terrifying ordeal of shark attacks amidst a hurricane. Peak gained prominence for her role as Zoya Lott in the Gossip Girl reboot and also appeared in Hocus Pocus 2. Additionally, she will feature in the upcoming action film Trap House, starring alongside Dave Bautista.
