Wynonna Judd's daughter, Grace Kelley, has been arrested for the third time this year, this time for allegedly stealing a van from a Charlottesville church. Kelley, 28, was taken into custody in Albemarle County, Virginia, on October 27 and faces seven charges, including three counts of felony grand larceny, driving without a license, and destruction of property with intent, according to the Albemarle County Police Department.
The police spokesperson confirmed to The Post that Kelley remains in custody at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. The Daily Progress was the first to report the arrest, which occurred after Kelley allegedly stole the van from Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene. The church later confirmed the theft on a GoFundMe page, stating that their green van and trailer were taken from in front of their pastor's home.
The church has set a donation goal of $30,000, as the van was declared a total loss after being damaged during the theft. Pastor Kent Hart explained that the van is crucial for the church's ministry, as it is used to transport congregation members and haul equipment for their Sunday services. Despite the incident, Pastor Hart expressed forgiveness towards Kelley, stating that the church continues to pray for her reconciliation and redemption.
This marks Kelley's third arrest in 2019. In August, she was booked in Carroll County Jail in Georgia on charges of fleeing from a police officer and driving with a suspended license. Earlier in April, she was arrested in Alabama on charges of indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations, with an additional charge of soliciting prostitution that was later dropped.
