Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Year in Review website tool for 2024 is now available. This means you can now uncover your most-played game of the year, the total hours you spent gaming, and other interesting statistics. To access your personalized stats, simply visit the Xbox website and begin your journey. Once there, you'll be able to view your top game, year highlights, and how your gaming habits compare to players worldwide.
Microsoft has also introduced some new features for this year's review, including a personalized design inspired by your most-played game and a detailed breakdown of your Game Pass usage. Additionally, there's a special video message from Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer. In his message, Spencer reveals that he spent the most time playing Diablo IV and Fallout 76 this year. He notes that his friends also rekindled their interest in Fallout 76 after the Prime Video TV series premiered, leading to a significant increase in player numbers for Fallout games in April.
Spencer also emphasizes the new campaign aimed at reminding people that Xbox is more than just a console. He believes it's crucial for gamers to play where they feel most comfortable, whether that's on an Xbox Series X, a mobile device, or through the cloud. This is reflected in the Year in Review tool, which breaks down your playing time by platform: console, PC, mobile, and cloud.
The Xbox Year in Review tool has become a yearly tradition for Microsoft, and it's expected that Sony and Nintendo will soon offer similar year-end summaries. Meanwhile, 2024 isn't quite over yet, with titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle set to arrive on Game Pass this month.
