Yash, known for his role in 'KGF', is gearing up to commence filming for his upcoming movie 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups'. According to sources, the shooting will begin on August 8 in Bengaluru. Geetu Mohandas has been appointed as the director for 'Toxic'.
Recent media speculations have indicated that Tara Sutaria might play the second female lead and Yash's love interest in the film. However, Tara addressed these rumors in July through an Instagram post, stating that the articles about her involvement in a project were inaccurate and not endorsed by her. She wrote, 'Hello all! The articles released over the last few days about a project and I are false and not shared by me.' She further added, 'Whenever there is something to share, I will share it with all of you! My love always. PS - Nobody is second to anyone.'
'Toxic' was officially announced in December 2023. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is scheduled for release on April 10, 2025. It is expected to be an action-packed film, set in the context of the drug mafia. Previously, there were rumors that Kareena Kapoor Khan might also be part of the film, but no official confirmation regarding the female cast has been released yet.
