The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a yellow alert on Sunday, August 4, due to ongoing rough seas and fresh northwesterly winds reaching speeds of up to 40kmph. The weather agency reported that conditions in the Arabian Gulf will include waves as high as 6 feet, starting from 1am and continuing until 1am on Monday. This yellow alert advises caution for those engaging in outdoor activities.

Similar warnings were issued by the weather department on Saturday. Residents of the UAE should anticipate a day that is fair to partly cloudy, potentially becoming dusty. Low clouds are forecasted over the Eastern coast. The country can expect light to moderate winds, occasionally stronger, which may cause dust and sand storms, potentially reducing visibility. The Arabian Gulf will experience moderate seas, occasionally rough, especially westward, while the Oman Sea will see slight to moderate conditions.

Temperatures are expected to peak at 41℃ in Abu Dhabi and 43℃ in Dubai. Humidity levels could drop to 15 percent in mountainous regions and rise to 80 percent in coastal areas and islands.
