Dutch shipyard Zeelander Yachts has revealed the sale of two units from its flagship series, the Zeelander 8, both destined for the Mediterranean. The 23.9-metre yacht, designed by Cor D. Rover, saw its first hull, Silver Dawn, launched in October 2024. The identities of the owners remain undisclosed, but founder and owner Sietse Koopmans emphasizes the brand's commitment to fostering long-term relationships, with many clients being repeat buyers. One of the units will feature a pearlescent white finish, while the color of the other hull is still under consideration.

The model offers accommodation on the lower deck, including a full-beam owner's cabin and two guest doubles, with the bow dedicated to crew quarters for three. Customization is a cornerstone of the design—the layout of the aft deck, saloon, guest cabins, and interior decor can all be tailored to the buyer's preferences. A notable design feature is the aft deck, where a transom swings open to create a 12-square-metre bathing platform at the water's edge, furnished with a high gloss table and leather seating.

Koopmans expressed his delight with the recent success and the signing of contracts for two additional units of their flagship model. "Each Zeelander yacht is a masterpiece in a state of continuous evolution, and every yacht we produce is truly one of a kind," he said. At full throttle, the model operates with noise levels below 65dBa, earning it the title of "the quietest vessel in its class" according to the shipyard. Additionally, the model serves effectively as a chase boat for larger vessels, ideal for shorter trips, shore excursions, or guest transfers.
