Zoë Kravitz concealed her ring finger during her first public appearance since ending her engagement to Channing Tatum, sparking speculation about the reasons behind their sudden split. The 35-year-old daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet appeared somber as she walked the streets of New York City on Wednesday, just hours after news broke of her breakup with Tatum, 44, after three years together. The newly single director of “Blink Twice” opted for a casual look, donning dark denim jeans, a white tank top, a navy oversized button-up, a matching Yankees cap, and boots.

Kravitz accessorized with black sunglasses, earrings, and a purse. Although she held her keys in her left hand, she discreetly hid her ring finger with the sleeves of her shirt, suggesting she had already removed her engagement ring. The couple, who met in 2021 when Kravitz shared an early draft of the “Blink Twice” script with Tatum, reportedly ended their engagement last weekend; however, the news only made headlines on Tuesday, October 29.

A source revealed to People that the breakup occurred because “they haven’t been on the same page and grew apart.” The Post attempted to contact the stars’ representatives for comment. The pair were last seen together on October 6 at a play featuring Tatum’s “Blink Twice” co-star Levon Hawke in NYC’s Red Hook neighborhood.

During the promotion of “Blink Twice,” Kravitz and Tatum frequently expressed their affection for each other. “If you are thinking about having a kid or if you’re thinking about getting married, go find the hardest possible creative project with your partner,” Tatum advised in July. At the film’s Los Angeles premiere in August, Kravitz told People that “art is our love language,” emphasizing their shared passion for creativity and mutual support.

Kravitz explained her decision to cast Tatum in the lead role, stating, “Looking at his work and hearing him speak about ‘Magic Mike’ and the live show, I’m like, I think he’s a feminist. You need to be so far from who this is, where it’s not scary. And I don’t think we’ve ever seen him play someone dark. I’m excited to see him do that.” Tatum and Kravitz’s romance began in August 2021, and they confirmed their relationship with a Halloween post that October.

Tatum proposed to Kravitz around the same time last year with a significant engagement ring. Their wedding was planned for next year, as revealed by Kravitz’s father, Lenny, who praised Tatum as “a really great guy” with “manners” and “charm.” This would have been the second marriage for both Kravitz and Tatum.

Kravitz’s previous marriage to actor Karl Glusman lasted only 18 months before she filed for divorce in January 2021. The divorce was finalized in August, the same month rumors of her relationship with Tatum began to circulate. Tatum’s marriage to Jenna Dewan, his “Step Up” co-star, ended in 2018 after nine years, with their divorce finalized last month. They share a daughter, Everly, 11.

Dewan’s fiancé, Steve Kazee, faced controversy when he posted a series of “HAHA” on his Instagram Story, seemingly mocking Tatum’s breakup with Kravitz. Kazee later clarified that he was laughing at a TikTok video about a houseplant, with his representative backing his explanation.
