Round-based Zombies makes a comeback in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with two fresh maps. Both launch maps come with a main storyline, and here we walk you through the steps to complete the Liberty Falls main quest. The Liberty Falls storyline quest can be tackled solo or with a squad, though having teammates can make certain steps easier. Initially, you'll need to spend the first few rounds opening up the full map, reaching the Pack-a-Punch, and crafting the map's Jetgun Wonder Weapon. Once the church's interior is accessible, interact with the machine on the right side for some story dialogue. Re-interact with the machine to receive prompts for the next steps to build the Wonder Weapon needed to progress.

Liberty Falls introduces an enhanced version of the Jetgun from Black Ops 2's TranZit map, which is more satisfying to use and won't break. Gathering all parts for the Jetgun involves several steps, but a full guide is available here. Alternatively, you might get lucky with the Mystery Box, though chances are slim. The Jetgun is essential for reaching the LTG parts that are out of reach, using its vacuuming function. First, take the Jetgun to the church and interact with the machine inside. Look up by the balcony to find a floating hat-like part and vacuum it up. A second part is inside Ollie's comic shop, floating in the hole in the ceiling. Another part is in the barbershop near Speed Cola, accessible by hopping from a nearby rooftop to the top of a parked truck.

With all three LTG parts collected, head to the bank's rooftop using the zipline or ascender. There's a special crafting bench on the roof for this device. Return to the church after building the LTG and interact with the machine to pick up an Aether canister, which slows movement. Take the canister to either of the two Dark Aether storms on the map—one at the Cemetery and another near the Pump and Pay gas station. Place the canister near the trap at the gas station and interact with the trap piece under the storm to place the LTG device. Defend the device from zombies for 60 seconds until the HVT spawns. Weaken but do not kill the HVT; lead it near the canister and trap it. Activate the trap to kill the HVT while it's active to collect its essence into the canister.

Carry the filled canister back to the church within 90 seconds and deposit it into the machine. The machine will dispense a Strauss Counter. Use it to sync three old-school film projector-like items on the map. The Strauss Counter will show a color (green, yellow, or red); interact with each projector until it matches the color. These devices are located on the hill leading down from the church to the bowling alley, behind the white house near the Groundskeeper's Tool Shed, and on the lower portion of the bank's roof. Once all are synced, a purple beam will direct you to the gas station.

A new Aether canister will spawn at the gas station. Pick it up and retrieve the LTG Device from the trap. Take both to the cemetery and repeat the process with the HVT. Place the canister near a cemetery trap and the LTG on the trap piece under the storm. Defend the LTG for 60 seconds until the HVT spawns. Weaken the HVT, lead it near the canister, and trap it. Activate the trap to kill the HVT while it's active to collect its essence into the canister. Return to the church and deposit the canister before the timer runs out, but do not interact with the machine again.

Once the canister is deposited, the machine will prompt you to interact, starting the boss fight. Gear up before the encounter. If done before round 25, level 2 armor and tier 2 Pack-a-Punched weapons should suffice. Essential perks include Juggernog and Quick Revive. Craft a self-revive if possible. Helpful equipment includes Decoy grenades, Monkey Bombs, and Napalm ammo mod. Shotguns and LGMs with high ammo count might be useful. The fight takes place inside the church in three waves: clearing zombies, an elite Mangler, and an elite Abomination. Survive and clear the waves. After the fight, a final cutscene plays, completing the Liberty Falls main Easter egg.
