Abu Dhabi Police have introduced a sophisticated robot, designed with a human-like structure, aimed at engaging with the public, addressing inquiries, and boosting traffic safety awareness.
This robot is capable of responding to questions and can be utilized in educational sessions. It also guides the public on important rules, such as stopping when the 'Stop' sign is displayed on a school bus.
Developed under the auspices of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, the robot has been meticulously programmed by skilled national personnel from the directorate.
Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, the Director of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, highlighted that this cutting-edge technology has significantly enhanced operational efficiency, reduced response times, and yielded substantial benefits in police and security operations.
The robot is equipped to show digital traffic safety videos, offer traffic guidance, and can even host traffic-related competitions.
