These specially designed vehicles cater to individuals with various disabilities and are marked by a blue special needs icon on the side doors and back window. To utilize this service, the individual must possess a Sanad card, which is available to citizens, residents, and tourists.
Booking options include mobile applications such as the Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) App, S'hail App, and Careem App, as well as through the DTC Call Centre at 800 88088 or the RTA Call Centre at 800 9090. Additionally, these taxis can be hailed directly on the streets of Dubai. They are also available at major ports including Dubai Airport (Terminals 1, 2, 3 & DWC) and Port Rashid.
Regarding fares, if booked via app, call centre, or street hail, the rates are Dh8 for the base fare and Dh2.23 per kilometer. For bookings made at ports, the base fare is Dh25 with the same per kilometer rate of Dh2.23. Individuals with non-motor disabilities can also reserve regular taxis through the DTC App and enjoy a 50 percent discount on the fare by presenting their Sanad card.
