Adnoc and Nafis are collaborating to generate 13,500 new positions for UAE nationals within Adnoc's supply chain by 2028. This partnership aligns with the UAE's objective to establish 100,000 private sector jobs for Emiratis in the next three years, focusing on high-skilled roles in sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, and manufacturing.

Under this agreement, Emiratis in the Al Dhafra region will be offered job and training opportunities this year. Moreover, Adnoc will provide 1,000 vocational training slots for UAE university graduates in private firms operating within Adnoc's supply chain through Nafis's Apprentice Programme.

Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of Adnoc, emphasized the importance of cultivating local talent. He highlighted the success of Adnoc's In-Country Value (ICV) program in enhancing skills and the new partnership with Nafis to expand private sector opportunities for local talent, supporting the UAE's industrial and economic growth.

This collaboration extends the accomplishments of Adnoc's ICV program, which has already created 11,500 private sector jobs for Emiratis since 2018. The new agreement aims to reach a total of 25,000 private sector jobs by 2028, accelerating UAE talent development and broadening the ICV program's scope.

Adnoc is also expanding its ICV program to collaborate with more local and international companies, fostering the next generation of Emirati entrepreneurs and supporting micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (mSMEs). Target sectors include advanced technologies like AI, manufacturing, transportation, and lower-carbon solutions.
