The Department of Finance in Ajman has launched a government prepaid card designed to facilitate secure service payments. Named 'Sahala', this card can be utilized through the 'Ajman Pay' platform. The emirate is committed to offering flexible and secure digital payment options by harnessing innovative and advanced technologies, as stated by the authority. Additionally, the new card is expected to bolster the digital economy within the emirate and improve the quality of life for its residents.
The introduction of the card took place during GITEX 2024, in the presence of Sheikh AbdulAziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department.
