Amazon is offering a plethora of fantastic board and card game deals in the lead-up to Black Friday 2024, including several exciting tabletop adaptations of popular video games. While not all the deals can be considered a steal, The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls stands out as a true bargain at its current prices. The core set of this strategy card game is available for just $16.49, down from its original price of $45. But the savings don't stop there; The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Ultimate Collector's Box is also on sale for $45, marking a significant $80 reduction from its $125 list price. This collector's box includes over 700 illustrated cards from the core set and two expansions.
These deals were initially available during Amazon's Big Deal Days event in October, but it's a pleasant surprise to see them return just in time for the retailer's Black Friday 2024 sale, which kicks off on November 21. Notably, you no longer need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of these offers. While this is excellent news for non-members, it also suggests that these Black Friday deals might sell out quicker than the previous round.
Although Four Souls isn't part of the promotion, board and card game enthusiasts should also check out Amazon's Buy Two, Get One Free Sale this week. The Ultimate Collector's Box includes The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls, which transforms the beloved rogue-like video game into a replayable strategy card game for one to four players. Designed by the video game's creator, Edmund McMillen, this card game features both cooperative and competitive elements. Players team up to collect four souls from the game's monstrous bosses, finding loot, upgrading abilities, and battling a variety of creatures inspired by the video game. Players can choose to sabotage their teammates or enjoy a cooperative run, with each game lasting around 30 minutes.
The Ultimate Collector's Box includes the revised 2nd Edition base set and both expansions, Requiem and Four Souls+. The 2nd Edition introduced a chaotic Solitaire-style game variant and a robust solo mode. The box contains 707 cards across the three sets, along with 12 dividers to help keep everything organized. Additionally, it includes two dice, tokens, and all other components needed for the complete Four Souls experience.
The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Base Set, which includes 340 cards, plastic pennies, two dice, and instructions, is also on sale for $16.49, down from $45. This is an incredible deal for fans of the game. While the Ultimate Collector's Edition offers the best value, the expansion sets are also available separately. The Requiem expansion is on sale for $15 (originally $35), but there's no deal on the $25 Four Souls+ expansion. For strategy card game enthusiasts, the adaptation of From Software's Bloodborne is also on sale for $33 (originally $45) at Amazon, with 75% of the stock already claimed as of November 18.
