Developer Naked Rain and publisher Netease have unveiled additional information about the forthcoming free-to-play gacha game Anata, previously known as Project Mugen. In a fresh teaser that pays homage to the first GTA 6 trailer, the company showcased some gameplay from Ananta, where players will navigate the streets of Nova City as agents of the Anti-Chaos Directorate.

Similar to other gacha games such as Zenless Zone Zero, Ananta features an anime-inspired design. Naked Science has revealed that players will delve into an 'open-world urban RPG' where they combat the forces of Chaos.

'Nova City has descended into Chaos, with spooky paranormal occurrences and toilets racing through traffic on the streets. The game promises a distinctive mix of humor, adventure, and mystery,' reads the official description for Ananta.

As seen in the trailer, players will encounter bizarre enemies like sentient toilet armies, cars equipped with chainsaw arms, and other forms of weirdness plaguing Nova City. Players can traverse the metropolis using various vehicles, and the trailer suggests that characters can engage in action or stealthily maneuver around enemies, drawing inspiration from Insomniac's recent Spider-Man games.

Regarding combat, Naked Science noted that players can utilize their surroundings to defeat foes. Between patrols, players can also partake in various activities, from pub crawls to working out at a local gym. Ananta is in development for PC, PS5, and iOS, but a release date has not yet been announced.
