The latest installment in the Assassin's Creed series has been postponed from its original November 15 release date to February 14, 2025. All preorders include bonus in-game content, and several retailers are also offering exclusive bonuses.
There are multiple editions of Assassin's Creed Shadows available for preorder, including a GameStop-exclusive collector's edition that looks particularly enticing. If you preorder from Best Buy, you'll receive a free lithograph set as an added bonus. Target is providing an exclusive steelbook case with all physical edition preorders. For the first time in a decade, the newest Assassin's Creed game will not be available on PS4 or Xbox One. Assassin's Creed Shadows is exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on consoles. The Ultimate Edition in the Collector's Edition is available as a disc-based version for Xbox Series X (two discs) and PS5 (one disc). The PC version of the Collector's Edition comes with a digital code. Like the Gold/Ultimate Editions, the Collector's Edition grants three days early access, starting on February 11.
