Bangladesh achieved a historic milestone by securing their maiden Test victory against Pakistan, winning by 10 wickets in the first match of the series held in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
Pakistan, having declared their first innings at 448-6, were subsequently dismissed for 146 in their second innings, setting Bangladesh a target of 30 runs to lead the two-Test series 1-0.
Bangladesh's opening batsmen, Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam, successfully chased down the required runs in just seven overs.
The second Test, also scheduled in Rawalpindi, is set to commence on Friday.
