Capcom has a history of producing high-end promotional items for its games, and its latest collaboration with Fender is no exception. The publisher has teamed up with Fender to create an eye-catching guitar, the Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster, which is set to debut next year. Priced at $2,000 on Fender's website, this guitar is a tribute to the 20-year anniversary of the Monster Hunter franchise. Designed to capture the 'majestic presence' of Rathalos, the guitar features this iconic creature on both the body and the rosewood fretboard. It also includes a (faux) tortoiseshell pickguard, adding to its unique aesthetic.

The guitar's specifications align closely with those of a Fender Telecaster Custom. It boasts a humbucker at the neck position and a single-coil pickup at the bridge. The nut is crafted from bone, though it's unlikely to be sourced from a monster you can hunt in the game. The neckplate proudly displays a 20th-anniversary logo, and like many of the games, the guitar is manufactured in Japan. This is a rarity among Fenders, which are usually made in either California or Mexico.

Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for release on February 28, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Given that Monster Hunter World was one of Capcom's most successful titles, anticipation for the new game is understandably high.
