The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has revealed plans to conduct an auction of Monetary Bills (M-Bills) on September 2, 2024. This auction will feature four distinct issues of M-Bills Treasury bonds.
As per the CBUAE's information, the first issue, spanning 28 days, will have a maximum value of Dh2,000 million. The second issue, for 42 days, will reach up to Dh2,500 million. The third issue, covering 126 days, will be capped at Dh4,500 million, while the fourth issue, extending over 294 days, will have a limit of Dh8,500 million.
The issuance date for these bills is set for September 4, 2024. The maturity dates are staggered: the first issue will mature on October 2, 2024, the second on October 16, 2024, the third on January 8, 2024, and the fourth on June 25, 2025.
The CBUAE has scheduled a total of 26 tenders for Monetary Bills (M-Bills) throughout the current year.
