Five individuals, each convicted in distinct manslaughter cases, have been given an opportunity to begin anew, as revealed on Friday. The Ajr Charity Foundation in Ras Al Khaimah has cleared the convicts' blood money, totaling Dh1.2 million, through a humanitarian effort funded by philanthropists' contributions.

Sheikh Arhama bin Saud bin Khalid Al Qasimi, the chairman of the foundation's board of directors, expressed gratitude to "the benevolent donors who have championed the organization's path and charitable projects for prisoners and their kin." He emphasized that this act underscores the principles of tolerance and fraternity inherent in Emirati culture.

With the blood money now resolved, the convicts are set to return to their homes and reunite with their families. Sheikh Arhama also recognized the backing of UAE leaders and the collective efforts of both citizens and expatriates in supporting charitable initiatives that have been transforming lives nationwide.
