'DIHAD+ Rome', an esteemed international initiative focused on promoting humanitarian aid and development, was held at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, a globally recognized institution for its academic prowess. The event, themed 'International Relations: The Positive Global Citizen Concept,' brought together leading professionals and experts. It emphasized the significance of individual and community roles in creating a more interconnected world, and how local positive actions can lead to significant global change.

The event commenced with an opening address by Ambassador Dr Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation and Chairman of DISAB; PAM Roving Ambassador for the GCC Region, followed by a welcoming speech from Professor Raffaele Marchetti, Deputy Rector for Internationalisation at Luiss University. Ambassador Dr Abdulsalam AlMadani highlighted the necessity of global cooperation and the crucial role of educational institutions like Luiss in advancing humanitarian efforts. He emphasized, 'We gather here to unite our strengths and collaborate towards a more sustainable and compassionate world. Our shared vision and commitment to humanitarian causes are the pillars that drive us to achieve impactful solutions.'

Additionally, Professor Raffaele Marchetti stressed the university's dedication to global engagement and the importance of international collaboration in humanitarian initiatives. He noted, 'Luiss Guido Carli University is committed to leading in innovation and academic excellence, especially in political and international studies. Strengthening partnerships with the DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation is crucial for advancing a more promising future for humanity.'

Khaled Al Attar, Director-General of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation, also delivered a lecture on fostering a positive global citizenship mindset and the role of individuals and organizations in contributing to a more positive and cooperative global community. The event saw the participation of key figures including Tariq AlMadani, Monsignor Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, and Hon. Gennaro Migliore, among others.
