Authorities reported on Thursday that eight earthquakes had been detected across various Syrian regions within the last 24 hours. The National Centre for Earthquakes in Syria specified that these tremors were deemed 'weak', with magnitudes varying from 1.4 to 3 on the Richter scale. The seismic activities were monitored in locations east of Hama, at distances of 22 km, 28 km, and 29 km; in the Iskenderun district northwest of Idlib, 44 km away; northwest of Latakia, 64 km away; and southwest of Latakia, 27 km away. Additionally, the centre noted the detection of two more earthquakes, one 46 km southeast of Tartous and another 43 km south of Tartous close to the Syrian-Lebanese border.
