Final preparations are in full swing for the 'Union Fortress 10' military parade, scheduled to take place on Friday, December 13, at 4pm. The event will be held at a 26,000-capacity arena located at Al Ain International Airport.
Organized under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed and by the Ministry of Defence, the parade showcases the readiness of the UAE Armed Forces' various formations and units. Held under the theme, 'Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity', the parade will feature key forces such as the Land Force, Air Force and Air Defence, Presidential Guard, Joint Aviation, National Guard, and Abu Dhabi Police, all collaborating with the MoD for this significant national event's 10th edition.
The previous nine editions of 'Union Fortress' have taken place in different emirates, with the inaugural event held at Abu Dhabi Corniche in March 2017. Additionally, the MoD will introduce an entertainment village for children and families at the event site. Open to the public from 10 am to 10 pm, the village will offer various events and entertainment activities, along with a dedicated area where visitors can gain insights into the role of the Armed Forces in protecting the nation.
