Some of Hollywood’s most renowned celebrities have expressed their intention to leave the United States in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris. Trump’s recent triumph has sparked a global reaction, dividing opinions across the world.

America Ferrera, known for her role in Barbie, is reportedly considering a move to the UK for a better life for her children. The 40-year-old actress, who previously starred in Ugly Betty, is believed to be planning a new life in the UK with her husband Ryan Piers Williams and their children, Sebastian, six, and Lucia, four.

“America is sick that Donald Trump is President again,” a source told Daily Mail. “She is devastated that Kamala lost. She thought the country she lived in was better than that.”

Cher revealed to The Guardian that she faced health issues directly linked to Trump’s first presidential term and stated she would leave the country permanently if he won again. Sophie Turner, known for her role in Game of Thrones, also vowed to “get the f**k out” of America and return to the UK.

In a podcast interview in July, former Disney star Raven-Symoné expressed on The View that she would leave the country if a Republican won the election. Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have voiced their opinions on the election result, with many taking to social media to express their dismay at Trump’s resounding win.

Pop star Billie Eilish, 22, who publicly supported Kamala Harris, posted a poignant message on her Instagram story, stating, “It’s a war on women.” Ariana Grande, 31, who was in Australia for the global premiere of Wicked in Sydney, also shared her despondency over the result, writing on her Instagram story, “Holding the hand of every person who is feeling the immeasurable heaviness of the outcome today.”

Actress Christina Applegate took to X to express her frustration, revealing that her daughter had been “sobbing” over the result. “Why? Give me your reasons why????? My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. Why? And if you disagree, please unfollow me,” she wrote before expressing her own anger. “Unfollow me because what you did is unreal,” she added.
