Dubai Police has recognized an Indian expatriate for returning Dh100,000 in cash to the authorities, as announced on Sunday. The Dubai resident, Swadesh Kumar, discovered the cash in the city's Al Barsha area.

Swadesh was awarded a certificate of appreciation and acknowledged for 'embodying the noble values of integrity and responsibility'. He was also commended for his significant role in enhancing the country’s reputation by supporting law enforcement initiatives. Brigadier Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station, highlighted that such acts of honesty contribute to Dubai Police achieving its strategic objectives by encouraging public collaboration.

Kumar expressed his appreciation for the recognition, affirming that it was his responsibility to return the valuables to the Al Barsha Police Station to ensure their safe return to the rightful owner.
