Juliette Lewis and Peter Dinklage star as relentless outlaws in the teaser for Tubi's gritty Western, The Thicket, unveiled on Tuesday.
In the movie, Lewis takes on the role of Cutthroat Bill, a brutal gang leader, whereas Dinklage embodies Reginald Jones, a shrewd bounty hunter. During a scene, Lewis's character comments, "You're the littlest man I've ever seen," to which Dinklage's character retorts, "You're the ugliest."
Directed by Elliott Lester, the film tracks Reginald and a young man named Jack, portrayed by Levon Hawke, as they embark on a quest to save Jack's sister, abducted by Bill's gang, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter. Their perilous journey leads them to The Big Thicket, a treacherous region in early 20th-century Texas. The movie is adapted from Joe R. Lansdale's novel, The Thicket.
