An LS-swapped BMW is now off the road after a dramatic incident. Video footage captured on Sunday morning by Instagram user koachise shows a second-generation M3 losing control while exiting a car meet, ultimately crashing into a nearby grassy area and rolling over. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
The YouTube video documenting the event begins with a casual walkaround of the black BMW coupe—identified as a 1995 model based on the license plate—parked at a local Cars & Coffee event in Sacramento, California. The close-up shots reveal modifications such as an Akrapovič quad-tip exhaust, an aftermarket diffuser, a rear-seat delete, and a new steering wheel. The video then transitions to the car pulling out of a parking lot and accelerating onto the road, right in front of a police car. Suddenly, the vehicle veers sharply to the left and speeds off the roadway, eventually catching the grass and rolling over, coming to rest on its roof.
Thankfully, no pedestrians were involved, and according to the person who recorded the crash, no one else was hurt. The driver's identity remains unknown. This incident serves as a reminder: there's no need to show off at car meets. Such behavior can result in accidents like this, likely costing the driver thousands of dollars in damages. Despite the severity of the crash, it's fortunate that no one was injured. Unfortunately, this isn't always the outcome, and no one wants to face such consequences.
