Maya Henry, the ex-fiancée of the late Liam Payne, has accused the former One Direction star of using his fans as a weapon against her just two days before his passing. In a cease and desist letter sent to Payne by Henry’s legal team, the 23-year-old model alleged that Payne had been persistently contacting her and excessively reaching out to her friends and family, as reported by DailyMail.
“Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information,” Henry’s lawyers informed DailyMail.
The couple had a tumultuous relationship, dating on and off for three years and getting engaged in 2021. However, they ended their engagement nearly a year later in 2022.
In a video shared on TikTok, Henry detailed Payne’s alleged obsessive behavior. “Ever since we broke up, he messages me, constantly bombarding my phone, not just from his number but from various phone numbers, so I never know where the messages are coming from,” Henry explained. “He creates new iCloud accounts to contact me – it’s always a fresh iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone, I think, ‘here we go again.’”
“Additionally, he emails me… not just me, but he also inundates my mom’s phone. Is this typical behavior to you?”
