Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Monday that he had engaged in a conversation with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, regarding recent events in West Asia, emphasizing the necessity for de-escalation.
"Terrorism has no place in our world. It is vital to prevent regional escalation and ensure the safe release of all hostages," Modi shared on X. Israel's military eliminated the leader of the Iranian-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah on Saturday as it intensified its attacks on militant targets in Lebanon.
"India is dedicated to supporting efforts for an early restoration of peace and stability," Modi declared on Monday.
