MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, has released the findings of an internal investigation he commissioned following allegations of grooming a minor by a former employee. The investigation, conducted by Alex Spiro of the law firm Quinn Emanuel, was initiated after allegations surfaced against MrBeast's former co-host, Ava Tyson. Tyson was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a then-13-year-old when she was 20.

The three-month investigation involved reviewing millions of documents and messages, as well as conducting 39 interviews. The findings, shared on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that the allegations of sexual misconduct between company employees and minors were unfounded. Additionally, the investigation found no evidence to support claims that MrBeast knowingly hired registered sex offenders.

The probe also uncovered several instances of less severe misconduct, including workplace harassment and inappropriate behavior. The company took swift action to address these incidents, including disciplining or terminating implicated individuals. MrBeast's company has since implemented several changes, including mandatory corporate training and the creation of an anonymous hotline for reporting misconduct.

The investigation also addressed allegations made by Dawson French, who accused MrBeast of hosting illegal lotteries. French was asked to cease making public allegations during the investigation. The alleged victim at the center of the grooming allegations, known online as Lava, denied the accusations and supported the investigation's findings.

Ava Tyson, in response to the allegations, apologized for any past behavior that may have hurt or offended anyone and announced her decision to step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on her family and mental health. She denied the grooming allegations, stating that the person involved in the accusations has vocally supported their falsity.

MrBeast expressed his commitment to ensuring a thorough investigation and taking appropriate actions based on the findings. Lava, in a subsequent statement, acknowledged that past conversations in a Discord server were inappropriate and should not have happened, but maintained that they were not a grooming victim.
