Mass Effect enthusiasts are well aware that November 7 is designated by BioWare as N7 Day to honor the franchise. Although a new Mass Effect game is still a few years off, this year's N7 Day brings some Mass Effect content to BioWare's latest offering, Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Players can discover three items that pay homage to Commander Shepard from the original Mass Effect trilogy. These N7 items are purely cosmetic, so don't anticipate any stat enhancements. The good news is that acquiring this free content is remarkably straightforward. Once players complete The Singing Blade mission within the main quest, the Mass Effect armor will be available in a new chest located next to the Caretaker in the Lighthouse. If you've already completed The Singing Blade and the chest is missing, simply exit the game and ensure it's updated. The chest should appear upon resuming play.

Unfortunately, Dragon Age fans received disappointing news as BioWare recently confirmed that The Veilguard won't see any story expansion DLC. The development team is now fully committed to the next Mass Effect game. However, the extensive character creation options in The Veilguard suggest that the upcoming Mass Effect title will offer players even more control over their character's appearance than ever before.
