India's capital, New Delhi, mandated the closure of all primary schools until further notice on Thursday night due to the escalating air pollution in the vast metropolis. "Owing to the increasing pollution levels, all primary schools in Delhi will transition to online classes, pending further instructions," Chief Minister Atishi, known by a single name, declared on the social media platform X.
