In a strategic move to expand its network of family clinics across the UAE, Thumbay Group’s Healthcare Division has inaugurated its newest Thumbay Clinic in Al Jurf, Ajman. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to offer comprehensive healthcare services to the community, backed by notable organizations such as Dar Al Ber Society, Beit Al Khair Society, and International Charity Organization, along with various other community associations. The initiative underscores the group’s dedication to patient-centric care and community well-being.
To celebrate the opening, the clinic will host a Free Friday Clinic, providing complimentary consultations with general practitioners and free health check-ups for blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI. This initiative highlights Thumbay Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and public health improvement. The inauguration event was attended by Dr. Thumbay Moideen, the founder president of Thumbay Group, alongside Akbar Moideen Thumbay, vice-president of healthcare, and other key members of the Thumbay Group board.
Akbar Moideen Thumbay emphasized: “We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-focused, and cost-effective healthcare services. This clinic will offer a wide range of specialist services, further solidifying Thumbay Clinics’ reputation as a trusted provider of family healthcare.” Dr. Thumbay Moideen highlighted that this new clinic is part of the group’s ambitious expansion plan, aiming to enhance its presence in the northern emirates and significantly grow its workforce over the next 4-5 years.
He stated: “Our objective is to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone, and the Free Friday Clinic is a crucial part of that mission. By offering free consultations and health check-ups, we are promoting wellness and fostering a culture of care and support that aligns with our core values.” Located within Thumbay Medicity in Al Jurf, the clinic is equipped with specialist doctors in obstetrics and gynecology, dental, general medicine, and x-ray services, along with a fully operational laboratory. The clinic will operate from 9am to 11pm from Saturday to Thursday, and 9am to 6pm on Fridays.
