American rapper Nicki Minaj revealed that she underwent a brief detention at Amsterdam Schiphol airport on Saturday due to an allegation of possessing soft drugs. At 41 years old, she was held just hours before her scheduled performance in Manchester, England. In a video posted on the social media platform X, Minaj appeared to receive information from a Schiphol employee about the police's intention to search all her luggage.

The Dutch military police confirmed the detention of a 41-year-old American woman for the possession of soft drugs on Saturday.
